It’s a tradition. The words of wisdom passed down from our mother’s (and father’s) is time-honored and valuable. It connects families across generations and gives us a lens through which we see the world, even if we’re not aware of it.
Momisms are quotes that capture valuable information or insight and in a few words can tell a whole story. British prime minister and author (B E N J A M I N D I S R A E L I) wrote,
“The wisdom of the wise and the experience of the ages are perpetuated by quotes.”
Here at The Mustard Seed House, I use quotes to be a better parent. I believe valuable words based on real life experiences and real everyday events and problems can have a positive effect on me and my child.
Gathered from people of all ages, occupations and locations in the world, my “Momisms” inspire a convenient way to think, learn and teach in everyday situations.
